Halal investing shouldn't be this complicated
FG x Wahed pt 4
Assalamu Alaikum girlie đ
This is the single question I get after almost every workshop regardless of the topic of discussion:
âHow do I start halal investing?â
And every time a woman asks me that, my heart smiles.
Because that question signals something so powerful - hope.
It shows youâre thinking beyond today.
Beyond bills.
Beyond the next paycheck or vacation.
It means youâre ready to grow.
Not just survive.
Alhamdulillah for that.
Muslim women today are earning more than ever!
Weâre educated.
Weâre in boardrooms, hospitals, schools, tech, finance, you name it - weâre there.
Weâre saving, giving, supporting family, and showing up for our community.
But hereâs the truth:
Savings keep you stable.
Investing builds wealth.
Real wealth
the kind that grows while you sleep
the kind that lets you step back from work if you need to
the kind that funds dreams, freedom, Hajj
that comes from investing.
And when we invest in a halal way
itâs bigger than us.
It strengthens the ummah.
It allows you to make incredible impact.
It plants seeds your family and community benefit from long after youâre gone, Inshaa Allah.
Thatâs legacy!
So why arenât more Muslim women investing?
Because the path is confusing.
And honestly, a little overwhelming.
You scroll through TikTok and watch videos on:
⢠halal ETFs
⢠IRAs
⢠401ks
⢠brokerage accounts
⢠long term strategy, etc.
And your brain is like:
Weâll get to it some day.
Because itâs overwhelmed.
The problem isnât a lack of information.
The problem is too much information and a lot of noise.
Which is why weâre closing out the Master Your Money series with everyoneâs favorite topic
