Halal investing shouldn't be this complicated

FG x Wahed pt 4

Assalamu Alaikum girlie 💐

This is the single question I get after almost every workshop regardless of the topic of discussion:

“How do I start halal investing?”

And every time a woman asks me that, my heart smiles.

Because that question signals something so powerful - hope.
It shows you’re thinking beyond today.
Beyond bills.
Beyond the next paycheck or vacation.

It means you’re ready to grow.
Not just survive.

Alhamdulillah for that.

Muslim women today are earning more than ever!
We’re educated.
We’re in boardrooms, hospitals, schools, tech, finance, you name it - we’re there.
We’re saving, giving, supporting family, and showing up for our community.

But here’s the truth:

Savings keep you stable.
Investing builds wealth.

Real wealth
the kind that grows while you sleep
the kind that lets you step back from work if you need to
the kind that funds dreams, freedom, Hajj
that comes from investing.

And when we invest in a halal way
it’s bigger than us.

It strengthens the ummah.
It allows you to make incredible impact.
It plants seeds your family and community benefit from long after you’re gone, Inshaa Allah.

That’s legacy!

So why aren’t more Muslim women investing?

Because the path is confusing.
And honestly, a little overwhelming.

You scroll through TikTok and watch videos on:
• halal ETFs
• IRAs
• 401ks
• brokerage accounts
• long term strategy, etc.

And your brain is like:
We’ll get to it some day.

Because it’s overwhelmed.

The problem isn’t a lack of information.
The problem is too much information and a lot of noise.

Which is why we’re closing out the Master Your Money series with everyone’s favorite topic

Halal Investing 101

In this workshop, Eldin Feratovic from Wahed and I are walking you through exactly what you need to start building your future.

We’ll cover:

  • An overview of halal investing

  • Types of Accounts

  • Expensive mistakes you must avoid

  • An action plan for you to start now

The biggest factor in investing isn’t intelligence or choosing the perfect time.
It’s time spent in the market.

Every month you delay is a month your money could have been growing.

So if you’ve been curious
if you’ve been hesitating
if you’re ready to stop Googling “is xyz halal”
and start actually investing
this is for you!

Join us this Saturday, the final session of the Master Your Money series
and the most exciting part.

It’s your turn to build wealth.
The halal way!

See you soon,

Fatimah
